Reductil generic, Ciplatrim with Sibutramine, is believed to act through two different mechanisms: enhanced satiety, which helps to reduce the amount of food eaten, and a so-called “thermogenic effect”, which prevents the slowdown in the resting metabolic rate during weight loss.
